FirstNet Authority partnered with eSkillz to optimize their Cornerstone LMS welcome page, transforming it into an efficient, user-friendly hub for their learning ecosystem. The primary challenge was maximizing the top real estate of the page while reducing banner height to ensure immediate visibility of critical tiles. The goal was to create an intuitive navigation system that would allow users to quickly access essential learning tools without excessive scrolling.

The solution centered on incorporating twelve circular icon tiles displayed in a prominent grid layout, mirroring the app-style interface users have come to expect in modern learning platforms. These icons serve as quick links to essential tools within the FirstNet Learning Portal. Below the icon grid, the page features clearly organized sections for Developmental Training with branded imagery, followed by three actionable tiles for Courses in Progress, My Completed Transcript, and Search Training. A Recommended Training section at the bottom showcases curated courses tailored to FirstNet’s workforce development needs. The redesign also included comprehensive end user and management guides to ensure smooth adoption across the organization.
