Over eight months, Databricks collaborated with our team on two design projects for their Docebo LMS.

The first project, initiated in December 2023, focused on designing the home page for Databricks Academy. Through several workshopping calls with the Databricks team, we refined the page structure to ensure optimal efficiency and user engagement. The page was divided into two main sections: the top half featured a prominent banner with overlapping tile buttons, while the bottom half included Catalog, My Profile, and My Task List widgets, all with customized appearances. To ensure a distinct and cohesive look, the design incorporated Databricks’ unique color palette and iconography, moving away from the default out-of-the-box styling.

The second project began in May 2024 and involved creating the home page for the Partner Academy. While leveraging the general framework of Databricks Academy, this page introduced notable modifications. The banner was reoriented horizontally, and the tile buttons were transformed into a four-by-four grid. Additionally, the catalog widgets were replaced with accordion-style sections containing tile links to learning content, offering a streamlined way for users to access information.

Both projects emphasized Databricks’ brand identity while enhancing the functionality and visual appeal of their LMS platforms.
