Project Overview

This public-facing training was commissioned by the U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) International Trade Administration (ITA) Global Markets (GM) to educate stakeholders on the grave issue of forced labor, providing essential insights into identification, prevention, and best practices within supply chains.

eSkillz built this training from scratch, utilizing instructional design to craft the overall training objectives, design, and implementation. From working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and various documentation, a highly interactive, story-based approach was developed which contains animated characters as narrators and real-life scenarios illustrating the effect of forced labor on ordinary people across the globe.

This training serves as a beacon of awareness and empowerment as it equips stakeholders with the knowledge and tools to combat human trafficking and forced labor. The training earned the bureau’s top honor: the prestigious ITA-GM “Bronze Medal”, which recognizes extraordinary achievements in support of ITA’s mission. This award is a testament to eSkillz and ITA-GM’s successful collaborative effort.
